I've been a resident of Wayne for the past 12 years. My kids have gone most of the the same growing pains other kids go through. Although, I do feel every child has their own individual obstacles to overcome.
In the past year, I have come to learn about more and more GANGS here in our community. I am fed up with my children being harassed and threatened and being told by the Police "That there is nothing they can do about it." The police are waiting for one of our children to either get brutally attacked or even killed before they will do anything to stop the violence now being brought to our community. My children should not have to live in fear. I have remained in Wayne for many reasons. One of them was that I felt it was a safe community. I don't feel that way anymore. Everyday I have to worry that some GANG member is going to attack one of my kids. Or maybe I'll get a call from a hospital. I'M FED UP!!!!!!!!! And I know there are other parents who have experienced the same thing that we're been experienceing. I have even heard of a parent who was assulted by this same GANG of kids.
We need to assemble ourselves as a community and resolve this matter. The police apparently can't help. And I don't know about you, but, I can't wait for something terrible to happen before someone will do something.
